Crop Circles 2013: Damp squib or just another phase?

No-one can deny it has been a pretty awful year for UK crop circles. A poor growing season, irate farmers, crop circle access scheme, animosity from certain quarters… it all added up to one of the worst seasons ever and we’ve only just got to the end of July. Despite one of the best summers the UK has seen weatherwise, the art in the fields has left a lot to be desired. Which of course raises many, many questions. Which I’ll save for the end of the season.

However, the Daily Mail have also noted the awful state of affairs here and The Times have also picked up on this theme here

So, it is a sign of things to come? Are we seeing the sad demise of this art form and all associated phenomena? Or is this just a phase we’re going through? As ever, time will tell…
