Simon Beck is well known for his fantastic snow circles, but he is currently in the UK and has started laying down some of his fantastic artwork in sand. Simon has recently produced a version of the famous Milk Hill Galaxy formation (as pictured above). Of course, there have been the grizzling’s of researchers, harrumphing that “sand is easier to work in that crops” blahblahblah. Of course, if one man can create this in sand, then irrespective of weather conditions, the 13 people who created the Galaxy could have quite easily pulled this fantastic artwork.

This isn’t the first time the Galaxy formation has been created in sand, this version appeared at Gerroa, and was created by Jo and Troy Byrne.
